and my lancia delta
Next on the to do list is give my mini a custom paint job. It normally takes me about 3 hours to paint a car how i want it.

RACE actually has the MINI Cooper Challenge cars and series however it's been panned by critics pretty hard.

Forza Motorsport 2 is the BOMB!! My first car i bought was a PW MCS. I put the black bonnet stripes on it and colored the top black then set it as my favorite car. I should post a pic of it in action
My mini started out PW/PW just like my car. But now it has a complete custom paint job like you would see on a Circuit track car.
I wish i could take a picture of it and post it, but im not sure how, do you need xbox live? or is there another way? (its actually the g/f's xbox 360 and she knows more about it than i do)
Also, does anyone on here play Forza Motorsports 2 on xbox Live? i do not have xbox live and was wondering if anyone has played Forza on it. Is It fun?
Im thinking about getting it.

I can't believe it took everyone a page of posts to even mention Forza! That game looks dead sexy for the 360. I have the original Forza and as soon as i bought my Mini back in Oct I immediately went home to see if they had it on the game!
Personally i think Forza 2 puts any of the GT games for playstation to shame. The handling of the cars seems alot more realistic to me and the tuning of the car is essential in turning fast lap times. I love spending time tweaking the suspension, brakes, tire pressure, gearing, and the differentials.
Also the customization in the game is far better than Grand Torismo. Custom paint jobs with almost endless possibilities, large selection of aftermarket rims, (which can also be painted) and the ability to do engine swaps makes the game alot more fun to me. 300 cars to choose from, (including the MINI S) should make most people happy.
The only thing i wish the game had was more of the older cars like maybe a 80's honda city turbo II, or an old toyota starlet, or a Mazda 323 AWD turbo!!!
...or or...a Classic MINI!
Maybe they will add an expansion? or the ability to Download new cars from xbox Live? who knows...
So anyways, does anyone know how to get a picture taken on their xbox 360, to their computer? I dont have xbox live? do you have to have this in order to do it? or is there any other way?

There is a Mini Cooper S 2003 in Forza Motorsport 2 for the Xbox 360. Here is a link to the page that has the full car list. http://www.forzacentral.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=12371

Im still working on being able to send pictures from the xbox 360 to my computer.
is the cat-5 cable like a USB port style cable? or what fitting should i look for on my comp to see if i can use it?

I just tried to send pics to my comp, from the xbox 360 using an ethernet cable. I could not figure it out. I downloaded zune (thats what xbox.com told me to do) and im having no luck.
Im having a hard time finding out where the pictures are saved at on the xbox360. It tells me they are saved on the harddrive but where on the harddrive? im not seeing them.
Does anyone know if its possible to send pics using the ethernet cable?
(i do not have xbox live)
anyone want to help me out with a step by step if this is possible?

Like I've stated before I don't have 360, and I'm sure someone can verify this but if you open up the xbox console(hit the 360 logo in the middle of the controller) and I would imagine it would be in the media section
That's where all the songs are store on the 360 so it would make sense for in-game screen shots too.
The cat-5 cable is just an ethernet cable that plugs into the back of the xbox

All you have to do is go into Forza 2 and go to options and view photo then you upload them to the Forza 2 site and then you go to the Forza 2 site log in, and then you can view the photo and save them onto your computer.
I tried to "upload" the picture in the forza 2 game when you can view them. but it said i was not connected. So im guessing i need an internet connection and not just a cable going from the xbox to my comp?
Here's a link to a MINI in Forza 2. I just got this game a few days ago.. LOVE the MINI in it!

Can't wait for this mod to be released. Looks absolutely beautiful, hopefully the physics and audio will be as good as the visual presentation. In the meantime I'm driving the Mk I GTI, Lupo Cup, and Clio.
Anyone know of a good wheel for 360? Now that Forza 2 is out I'm really close finally buying a 360, but will hold off until I can find a good input device for it. I personally like Forza on the original XBox a bit more than GT4 (used car showrooms and 16:9 HD output in GT4 are very cool though), except for the generally crappy quality of the wheels/pedals that I could find for it. I wound up going with the Speedster 3 for my XBox, but was thoroughly disappointed. I've owned 7 different wheel/pedal sets over the years for PC/Xbox/PS2 , most of them Logitech or Thrustmaster, and so far nothing has beat the Logitech Driving Force Pro in feel (haven't checked out the G25 yet).

SilverRocket, you need to get a xbox 360! Forza 2 is awesome! and very fun. If you had xbox live you could race with me and a few other NAM'ers who have it.
Check out the "MINI in forza 2" thread for more pics of peoples cars

What does the extended XBLive subscription wind up costing?
Unfortunately it may be a while before I can join you guys as I'm just now getting back into a position where I'm going to have some discretionary income after a long hiatus from the corporate rat race scene. It's looking like I may be putting off replacing my recently destroyed summer tires, adding adjustable camber plates and RSB until next spring anyways, so maybe I'll look at grabbing the 360 after a few more pay days in preparation for my winter motoring hibernation.
I've been jealously drooling over those screenshots for the past week or so. Looks like there's a whole bunch more customization options, visual and performance, than in the original. I'm extremely excited about the AWD conversion I've heard some mention in that thread.

But my favorite game with a Mini Cooper was Midtown Madness 2 for the PC (which I believe is the first one of that series that had the Mini Cooper). The game was in London, and you could drive your Mini's down in the underground (the tube). VERY Italian Job before the whole Italian Job thing. Then Midtown Madness 3 for the original Xbox was also fun because I could drive the Mini Cooper around my hometown of Washington DC. Add a custom soundtrack to it, and that was SO much fun. Unfortunately it's one of the games that has not yet ported over to the 360...
