I Spy... a MINI Billboard!
Thanks to Jimmy_Racoon for giving me this idea for this thread via his post (https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...d=1#post937123)! Not sure if anyone has done this in the past or not.
He gave me the idea that it would be cool for everyone to post pictures of the MINI billboards they see while out and about.
Please include, along with the picture, the following information:
City, State
Cross Streets
This should be interesting to see the different ad's across the country!

Saw this on the way to Work!
Caught this billboard on the way to work...couldn't resist a quick picture.

I494 Westbound side, just across Mississippi River on East Bank.
Minneapolis/St Paul, Minnesota
With gas at $3/gallon, SUV's are cryin'...MINI's are flyin'.
Motor on.

There used to be an ad on the side of a building in downtown columbus that had a life size mini in a slingshot and made a reference to David and Goliath. Here's a link to the ad agency that did the billboard, it was really cool to drive down the street and see a mini hanging off the building!

I saw this billboard yesterday in the Chicagoland area. We were headed north on 294 and my mom said, "there is your car." I saw this post yesterday before I saw the billboard so I was somewhat less than jumping out of my seat but it was still cool.

A few months ago it was a "counterfeit mini" bilboard - HILARIOS.
Last time I went I think it was a cabrio ad...EDIT: someone beat me to this...

I don't have one advertising MINI (I haven't SEEN any!), but there IS a bilboard for Richmond, featuring a MINI roller coaster. Someone told me it's for Kings Dominion, and it's the Italian Job ride. (if it doesn't show here, it's in my gallery.)
When I was in Europe, someone (who knew of my obsession w/MINI) gave me a US article on some of the prototype MINI bilboards that would receive a signal from a passing MINI key (already associated w/ data filled in at time of purchase), and actually say HI and a personal message to the driver....Anybody heard/seen these???
