The Peerage of the Pepper White
And I had to post a pic of my boot in the peerage. It just seemed like the right thing to do.

**Addition reflected in Post #2064 master list**
Got some pics for everyone
Holy giant pic up there Albie, lol.
Ok, so finally after some slight issues over the last couple of days, I have finished the system in my Mini (no name yet) Apparently Mini's don't like capacitors too much! Ok well check the sig for the mods that are done so far. I think the last thing I want to do is the blackout kit over all the disgusting chrome. So here we go and I hope you enjoy.

Let the work begin!
Well, for some people, having lost their MINI in a crash and replacing it with another would be satisfactory. But since my car went down the 75 foot ravine, I've always known I would need to bring it back from the dead.
Just the other day a friend was out looking where my crash occurred and from the corner of the eye saw a glint of chrome. The missing valve stem with the checkerboard cap. The fourth one to go with the three that had made it out of the canyon. A sign from the PepperWhite gods to get started on the long twisty road to reclaiming my PW#2388
PS. The Chili Red Cabrio S has the name Hermin and is actually owned by the wife!

Wow! Way to reclaim the PW. Although we can only see that back wheel and a little bit of the quarter panel, I'm imagining there is a lot of work to do. Would love to see some before and after pics!
Congratulations & welcome! I hope she's not too terribly jealous that you picked the slickest, coolest, hottest, most awesome color MINI ever. Don't be too terribly alarmed if she starts talking trade-in.
Post some pictures when you get a chance...can't wait to see it.

Schweet rides! Looks like the quintessential good vs. evil...
Of course I'm partial to the pepper white and love the wheels. MINI needs to start offering more black wheel options. With the infamous BMW/MINI brake dust black is the only way to go. Congrats again and here's wishing you many many years of happy motoring.

Check out Post #2064 in this thread...is there an unclaimed number that you'd like to own?
jr - I've got the factory stripes too and I've been contemplating removing them and putting on the aftermarket rally/center stripes. I think there are a couple of vendors signed up for the dragon that sell them. My fear is the "ghost stripes" that will be left behind from the factory stripes. Anyone that's got experience with this I'd like to hear from you...and like jr I'd like to see some pics.
Let me know what you decide to do. I might bite the bullet at the dragon later this week. I like the bonnet stripes but they're so common here. Almost every MINI I pass has them. It would be like getting a new car because the stripes really change the look of the car. So many options...
