As well as my MINI I also have a 1957 Austin A35. This is the car the A-series engine was designed for and without that that would have been no MINI!

That pic is how I found it abandoned in 1984 and she is currently in hibernation in a garage.

When she was last on the road she looked a bit like this

I'm in the same boat: a 1994 Range Rover, and another supercharged Brit, an 1997 Jaguar XJR.

I've had a recent change due to needing some automotive downsizing. A new 2006 Audi A3 2.0T joins the MINI in the driveway.

If I had a second car it would be a classic Mini or a Nash Metropolitan.

Ah yes, it's my pristine 1985 Merkur XR4Ti. Rear-drive, 2.3 turbo, grand touring at its (mid 80's) best...plenty of room too. Still like the MINI better

Daily Driver - modified 03 MCS.

Summer Car - 2005 Mustang GT Convertible.

Love them both like I've never loved any other vehicle(s).

Just don't make me pick a favorite. They're each the best at what they do....

Wow I see where MINI stole the idea for their 15" Holeys . Note the bolt pattern, resembles 4x100 - did you keep the compact spare?

It's 108mm darn the luck...and RWD. Interesting that some wheels for the MINI are also available in 108 and list the XR. It's a fun ride though. Sort of the all-or-nothing thing that they banished with the SC in the MINI. Just when you get the boost on the XR you suddenly are going too fast!

Tow rig for the shifter kart ... '04 F350 Crew Cab dually 6.0 Diesel 8' bed. The mini can almost fit in the back of the truck. Talk about opposite ends of the spectrum as far as vehicles....great conversation.
