Took the mini out today for a spin after finishing the aero grill last light at 3am! It was rough to wake up this morning. Nevertheless, it was all worth it I think!

Oh, and Meg, that convertible JB is so KEEN!!!! I looked earlier, and spent a good portion of the day realizing how rare JB convertibles are. Good on ya for a very unique/rare Mini!

I had no idea JB was disappearing when I ordered Malibu Stacy over the summer. I'm soooooo glad I didn't wait and order an '06. I think JB is like CR - it should ALWAYS be available.

I know- this is truly shocking to me. Even the General Manager at my dealership is outraged. They keep PH and LY, but get rid of JB?

One of my Motoring Advisors (the two work as a team) at Long Beach MINI told me that MINI is bringing back Jet Black for the 07 MCS. We shall see!

Thanks! I love 5-spoke wheels, and the deciding factor was that they're easier to clean. I can reach the backside through the spokes!

That was after Boo's first Zaino experience. Came out really nice. Now if nly I cound find the time and another friends indoor catering kitchen to do that again.

I love black. black always looks amazing on every car. I test drove a black mini a year before i bought mine, thinking that was what i was going to get... then i fell in love with every other color as well, but ended up with my last minute LY

I thought someone should post a view of a Jet Black MINI from the back. This pic is absolutely stock on delivery day. Such understated elegance!

Earlier postings of pictures of Boo and MiniClo were two of the reasons I chose Jet Black for Topper, especially when I heard it was being discontinued.

And I love Vader's silver Shelby stripes.

I'm probably going with that color but in either traditional Cooper stripes or a centerline Racing stripe just to be a little bit different! Should go great with the wheels and interior.
