New 2026 Cooper S - Accelerator Pedal Too Sensitive
Hi,
My wife got a new 2026 Cooper S a week ago.
Gas pedal is very sensitive, she barely presses on it and it starts to take off too quickly.
This is especially noticeable when she wants to start driving in reverse. Very odd.
Is there a way to make the pedal less sensitive? (hopefully, without having to modify car, as we leased it)

Good news!
Met with our MINI motoring advisor, who also is dealer's go to guy for teaching buyers about using all the car's features.
He said to use 'Green' Experience mode and car will be more to my wife's liking in terms of feel.
He is right, she is very happy with the feel now.
