Anyone use a tire-plug on run flat tires with a nail?
Yes - I have.
Although it has been more than 15 years ago when I first ran run-flats - No tire repair shop would plug a run-flat due to liability. I eventually came across a mechanic that had no problem and was confident with plugging a run-flat.
So back then I began plugging my own run-flat tires with success, everytime I ran over a nail...
Lots of booming housing construction going on back in those days.
If I recall correctly - a new run-flat for an R53 Mini cost about $300+ back then.

If you know you haven’t driven
around on it with very low
pressure (<15psi) and it’s in a
pluggable location (not sidewall
or near the shoulder of the tread
and not too big of a nail), then
it’s perfectly ok to plug.
