Digital dash cruise control display question

I have a question regarding the display that comes up when I activate cruise control on my 2024 F60 Countryman S All4 with Iconic trim. Please see the image below. When cruise control is activated, the display shows the green horizontal bars which indicate the distance to maintain to any car in front. Below that is the speed. To either side are diagonal lines. My question is about these lines. They're always gray in color. Never green. I assume they're associated with the lane departure warning (which works fine). Is this normal behavior? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. --LeifW
