Disposal of 2006 S Manual

Original owner of 2006 Cooper S. Runs strong, 90k, always synthetic Mobil 1, but alas the underpinnings are failing — fluid lines, tie rods, control arms, etc., due to the unfriendly Connecticut winters. 5k plus to fix, and no guarantee other critical components won’t fail in near future. Was garaged first 13 years of its life but not last 6 years. Any thoughts on how to dispose or sell? Hate to see such a strong engine go to waste. I could donate for virtually zero deduction if need be, but figured I’d check here first. Thanks

Sorry to hear that about having to give up your Mini.
Perhaps you may consider posting it for sale in the NAM Marketplace?
Best of luck!

Post it up on Facebook Marketplace and set a reasonable price. There is people out there looking for either a parts car or a project car. If it runs strong, you should be able to get a decent price. How's the body? Any rust? Do a search on Marketplace and that should give you a reference of what Mini's are going for in your area. Good luck.

I'd post it here before Facebook Marketplace. Somebody might need a parts car, and the 2006 model year is considered by many to be the best of the first gens.
