R53 Lefy key in run, won’t start…

I was having intermittent fuel pump issues, but when I hit it it would start and run well.

i Accidentally Left it in run with the engine off, came back and no start.

i replaced the fuel pump, Charged battery back to 100% just in case and now it cranks great, getting power to coil, but it won’t fire.

What can/should I check next?

I tried to find the fuel pressure relief valve to see if pressure at the rail, but couldn’t find it. Do I have to remove stuff or is it accessible?

i also tried testing spark at the plug end of the wire with a grounded test light, but didn’t see it light up. Maybe I was doing it wrong?

thanks!

Pressure Relief Valve: On many vehicles, the relief valve is located on the fuel rail. You should be able to access it without removing too many components. Gently press the valve with a rag to avoid spilling. If fuel comes out, this indicates that the pump is working properly and that pressure is present
