17 years later - tell me about improvements!
Hello! I was a somewhat active member here about 10-15 years ago and was thrilled to see I could still log in!
I was a proud owner of a 2008 r56 (oxygen blue) hardtop for about 5.5 years before the countless $$ issues forced me to sell it.
I've been in a 2014 Nissan Rogue since and now my husband will be taking that car and I am revisiting the idea of MINI again as I've heard things have improved.
That's why I'm here. Have they improved? Reliability? Longevity? Corporate working with customers? Recalls on known issues? I'm specifically looking at the 2025 Ocean Wave Green hardtop (either Signature Plus or Iconic). Understand that we know nothing about car maintenance or repair and unfortunately have to rely on the dealership for these things.

F56+ you should be good for a while. They are not like the Gen 2 MINIs.

Make it a drophead. Topless motoring IS motoring at its best. Also, check around with other MINI folk in your area for a top independent MINI/German motor shop for post warranty service.
