Failing HPFP - Looking for replacement

So i picked up a 2011 R56 over the weekend. Thought i did a thorough job with my buddy in inspecting it; only to find out driving back that it wouldnt rev past 4k rpm. It just hesistates like the governor kicked in. Long story short it had a failing HPFP as per the scanner.

Im here looking for the cheapest place I can get one, new or used. the dealer wants damn near half of what I paid for the vehicle.

I was so excited to purchase this car, and this happens.

Might I add, that the engine idles really really low now and its louder than usual. But when on the hwy it feels fine. Oh and another thing, the not revving past 4K is on and off. Revs and drives amazing when its working fine.

Do I really need a HPFP or is a result of other conditions?

What are the codes and full symptoms? I thought I had a failing HPFP, but turned our to be a clogged in-tank fuel filter. I was getting hesitation, and fuel pressure codes.

So i picked up the car saturday past. Drove it, and it was fine other than it not being able to rev past 4k rpm. I thought since the lady that owned it before just left if out back and it probably had carbon buildup or possibly some sort of blockage going on. I did a quick seafoam when i got back. That seemed to solve the issue (or not). I was able to rev it past 7K rpm and it was great. I went ahead and did a fresh oil change.
After the oil change i decided to take it for a test drive. It drove fine, but on the way back it looked like the not revving past 4k rpm was back. I parked it for about an hour and went back to try it again. It worked fine. So this losing of power is intermittent.
Now I notice the engine is revving very very low, but stay running. It sounds very sluggish and noisy, but when you put it gear it drives perfectly.
Sorry left my scanner at home. But essentially its saying im misfiring on all cylinders, and something about losing pressure in the fuel pump.A quick google search all seem to point to it being a bad HPFP.
Now with all the bad HPFP cases, the car seems to run/idle somewhat normally after it warms up. Mine on the other hand still idles very rough. Drives fine, but the engine sounds very noisy.

This last comment makes me think fuel filter... Mine was acting similarly. Cold start would be fine, but as the car got hot, would start to have running issues and misfires. Not wanted to spend the coin on a new HPFP, I thought I would change the fuel filter first to see if any change. Turns out, fixed my issues completely.

What codes were you getting? I could try with the fuel filter. It looks easy enough. I have the day off so might as well make it useful.

I was getting the following:
2BE9 - Cylinder injector shutdown: Pressure too low in high-pressure system
2BDD - High-pressure fuel: Compressed briefly to high speed and load limit
2C01 - High pressure fuel, plausibility: pressure too low

I was getting those codes on more than one occasion. The 2BDD was the one that was throwing me for a loop. Couldn't figure out why that one was getting logged. I would clear them, and the car would act fine for a few weeks, then throw one or more of those codes. I was convinced the HPFP was going out, but after the fuel filter I haven't had any those codes return.
