Front end feeling off

I have an R56 S that the front end feels off after an alignment following a small collision. I slid into a curb and hit the front passenger tire. Snapped the stabilizer link and bent a few other components. Replaced everything and got an alignment after. There is now a slight almost grinding feeling in the steering wheel when neutral or turning to the right. Turning to the left gets rid of the feeling. I'm not sure if the steering is off or if something could actually be grinding. If you have an idea of what it could be, lmk. I'm almost ready to just tear the front end apart.

A hit that hard could have damaged the electronic rack and pinion. The rack gear and pinion are very high tolerance machined parts with bearings that are graded and matched to a high tolerance. When you hit you could have put a rough spot on the rack. The pinion is case hardened as is the rack but if you jam them hard enough you can damage the surfaces.

I used to run an steering gear plant working with 3 OEMs
