When I bought my (sig) R53, the original window sticker was stuffed under the front passenger seat where likely it had been ever since delivered to the original owner when new. Condition of that wasn't great, i.e., wrinkled with some pertinent text rubbed off not clearly legible. With hope of obtaining a fresh copy for framing, I contacted MINI USA but was told not available as a service they could provide. Some other brand cars have an online utility where entering the VIN displays a printable jpg image of the original window sticker. Not-so BMW/MINI.

I followed online leads, including the (2) companies linked below which specialize in creating art grade and/or frameable replacement window stickers for higher end cars such as Porsche and Ferrari. Corresponding with both businesses today determined no templates have been created for MINI models due to apparent lack of interest. The first business link indicated they might offer something in the 2nd half 2022 but unconfirmed at this point, so referred me to the second business link which indicated that if with sufficient MINI owners ready to commit to purchase, he'd be willing to develop the artwork with background graphics and templates. If so, it would be a matter or weeks or months vs days before he could fulfill. Original style reproduction copies aren't cheap as shown on that 2nd website, however I suspect enough MINI owners with unique model cars (JCW, GP, limited editions) are willing to spend the $$. I know I'm nutty enough to do so. If you too, contact those companies and let them know. If anyone knows of any businesses already producing reproduction MINI window stickers, please post those links here!

I get that you don't want to pay extra, but I don't have Bimmercode and never will. I have purchased a few new and used cars and Monroney has helped me to see how each car was actually equipped. If the Monroney shows a package, you can click on that package and it will show what that package included. If all your looking for a copy of the Monroney, I guess there are cheaper options, but the monroney site is so easy to use.

 

^^^ Perhaps you didn't read that I already have the original window sticker and know from that plus confirmed by VIN decoder site how factory equipped. Point of this topic specifically related to obtaining duplicate replications of original window stickers for display only...

 

Bah, if you have your original still and want to display it, just throw it in a frame and hang it up!

BUT, you still have the original window sticker. Even though its beat up, for a collector, the original would be more desirable than a reproduction. And if your only goal is to display it in your office, even though its beat up, it still has more of a story than just the record of the car build option.

Maybe we just have a different mindset about it...

 

Agreed, happy to have the original despite not being in pristine condition. Still would like a replica copy for framing, so we'll see if any replacement options are commercially available...

 

Which background pic does your window sticker have?

There were a few different background pics for the window stickers. I have to find mine, but I might be interested in a repro if it’s the same.

 

^^^ Looking at mine now, has the bulldog's face with pink tongue in the background across list of options / prices on left and standard features on right. I no longer have the window sticker for the 2013 MCS formerly owned (went with the car to new private party owners) but selling MINI dealers laminated those in clear plastic for protection whereas mine for the 2006 R53 was printed on a waxed type of paper.

I'll be editing my first post to add another window sticker replication business that I contacted initially. They too are not tooled at this point to reproduce MINI Cooper window stickers but might well later this year.

^^^ Seems that's a dealer-furnished version of original window sticker? I say that since mine has bulldog background graphics and Stuttgart Studios provided me an image of another 2006 MCS sticker showing seated driver's right hand on gearshift ****. It's those replications with images I'm seeking, as think others might also. Those background graphics make replication process more difficult.

 

As I stated, is an online version... I just put my VIN and other info into the boxes that they asked for.

I tried to get one from the original selling dealership in Colorado right after I got my car, they either couldn't help me, or wouldn't help me
