04 R50 bad engine miss

On the way home from a 400 mile trip. My R50 service engine came on. Car running like ***. Kept wanting to stall. Was able to get it home. Cylinder 1 has issues. I pulled the plug. Plug was wet with fuel. Cylinder has spark. Check compression. Cylinder 1 80, cylinder 2 115, cylinder 3 115, cylinder 4 120. I'm think it sounds like a burnt valves. But I'm wondering if the injector is stuck open. I'm getting spark. But the plug is wet with fuel when I removed it. Any ideas?

That large a gap in compression across all cylinders is substantially more than a stuck injector though the presence of so much fuel in cylinder one supports your premise. A stuck injector would create fuel on top of the piston - is that present? A bad valve is definitely a possibility with that low compression. Here's a link to an injector refurb service: https://hpinjectors.com/pages/hpi-in...aning-services ... I haven't used them so this is not an endorsement.

Well guess what my friends. Combination of 2 things. One was a bad injector an water in my gas. Treated the tank. Changed the injector with a used one I got from a junker. Let treatment sit for 30 minutes. Started the car an has no engine miss showing on my hand held an inpa. Took it for aa spin. Runs perfect. Still a little concerned about cylinder 1 low compression. Im Thinking it has a burnt valve. So more than likely I'm going to do a head swap anyway.
