AGM Battery Recommendation?

Time for a new battery I guess. OEM Battery is only three years old, not sure what happened!

Looking for recommendations and a good price. I would like to stick with AGM.

Thanks in Advance

I’m fond of Bosch’s batteries. They are neither the cheapest nor the most expensive, and even when years old keep cranking the starter on single-degree cold-as-**** mornings.

One more vote for Bosch. Part number for 60 Ah AGM is Bosch "S5A" 0 092 S5A 050. OE part number is 61217604802 for 60 Ah, which should help when doing a Google search.
Part number 0 092 S5A 080 for Bosch 70 Ah. Alternatively I'd go for Varta's "Silver dynamic AGM", part numer E39 - 570901076D852 (70 Ah). OE part number is 61216805461 or 61216924021 for 70 Ah.

you can get a DURALAST AGM at most any AutoZone / decent part store ... and Batteries Plus has a couple of choices.

They are not that hard to find today . .

Yes thanks I am very familiar with AutoZone, OReily's, Advanced Auto, Napa, etc...

Was looking for feedback on different batteries. Since the top of the line Autozone was about the same as the Stealer I went the stealer route.
Ended up buying Carly with generic adapter and did the famed "battery reset". Really a lot of discussion over nothing. All enthusiasts should at least be using Carly, NCExpert, or whatever flavor. The dealer was going to charge $195 for the battery registration! I have a good rep with the service department and they were willing to knock off $100.00, so it was a good backup plan.

I will go ahead and purchase the Carly adapter and be right about at the cost of dealer programming but instead I will have the SW and dedicated HW - there are a few coding groups not able to program with the generic.

Ended up with 700CCA / 70Ah

Batteries Plus Really? :/ Total Rip off

@930 Thank you very much! I did research some of the Aftermarket's but they always point to the EU and shipping is crazy expensive or no longer available or mini dealers not shipping them. Did a quick google on a few you mentioned and it's pretty much the same results

I got mine through a MINI dealer as we dont carry the MINI ones. Otherwise we carry some aftermarkets. MINI has select batteries that are on sale. My R52 cooper battery was really cheap and lead acid, cheaper then most aftermarkets so it depends on the size. OPTIMA and Northstar we carry. You will have to pickup the MINI battery at the dealership, most will not ship.
