(East) Bay Area shop/mechanic recommendation?

Hey all, glad to be here after I bought a friend's 2007 Sidewalk Cab to have a fun car for the first time in a while. It is in good shape, but I no longer wrench after moving (no tools or garage space). So looking for a shop/mechanic recommendation in the East Bay (near Walnut Creek). Car drives well, but it has 148K and I'm sure has some overdue things...drive belt for sure at a minimum. I will want to replace the top (a bit worn, and latch on passenger side doesn't fully engage) so will look for a shop for that. I'd love to mod it up a bit for fun driving...I used to do that for my Porsches back in the day. Anyway, any recommendations for a good shop would be appreciated. Thanks.

PS, I posted this previously in the R52 Cab forum, but not much activity there.

The best shop in your area is Bay bridge motors in Oakland. They do a great job and know what they are doing. I think they are the closest to you.

Thanks, a bit far (west side of Oakland...I am over the hill in Lamorinda), but will check them out.

Finally took the car to Bay Bridge and I was happy with everything. Thanks for the recommendation.

Only thing they couldn't help with was the convertible latch mechanism failure (I have to pry open the passenger side latch with a screwdriver...then it opens fine). They don't have much experience with that fix and didn't have a suggestion for me.
