I'm looking to buy 08 CooperS
I am looking for a weekend ride and have always liked the look of the mini. What are some of the concerns that I need to be aware of/look for? What about maintenance issues and cost of repairs?
I want to go in with my eyes wide open. Don't want the wife to say I told you so.

Get it to a local shop that deals with MINIs or BMWs and have it inspected. Timing chain, water pump, thermostat housing, turbo oil lines, HPFP are the major things.
