Seat Discomfort

I have a 2014 Mini Cooper
The bucket seat puts strain on my lower back and causes my hips to hurt as well!
I am a 5’ 2” female and my bottom area sits much lower than my knees. I have adjusted the lumbar support at the back of the seat as much as I could in order to support my back and I sit on a household cushion that just rest on top of the seat. This combination seems to have helped my problem a bit. However, the cushion keeps moving around, bunches up and doesn’t maintain its shape, so I want to know if someone can recommend a particular type of firm foam cushion/wedge that I can use to sit on that will help to alleviate the strain on my lower back and hips? If I don’t find a solution I maybe forced to sell my Mini.

Amazon has a load of seat cushions, can't recommend any in particular for the car, but give one a try. Also might want to try moving the seat back a bit.

Can you raise your seat to give your hips more of a 90 degree angle? My 2015 is all manual but has a pump handle that will raise and lower the seat.

Have you considered permanently installing spacers under your seat to raise the whole seat another inch or so. It's a common mod on Miatas so I presume it would work with a MINI.

It’s not the height of the overall seat base but more specifically the angle of the seat base. So I am looking for a wedge cushion that will raise just the area of the seat base where my bottom is positioned. I was hoping that someone could suggest a wedge that they have tried which fits well in the Mini seat
