Wipers

Yesterday was the first day that I drove my F56 MCS in the rain. I realized that there is no intermittent setting for the wipers. It's just Off-Auto-Slow-Fast, right? While, I don't mind the Auto setting at slow speeds and stops, I think it goes way too fast when the speed picks up. I have it at the lowest setting (which I assume is what the speed **** adjusts). Is there any other way to control it's speed (Bimmerapp or other hacks)? I found that I'd have it Auto at slow speeds then switch it to Slow and back to Auto based on speed.

I wish it had an intermittent or delay setting. I'm the type of person who'll use Intermittent in steady rain and only switch to Slow when it's coming down hard.

(And does anyone know if it's okay to just have the daytime running lights on when it's raining? NJ has a wipers on/lights on law.)

On my R56 I get intermittent wiping when I push the end of the stalk inward (towards the center of the steering wheel).
