Oil catch can on a R50

I want to install one just to keep as much oil of the valves as possible. My question is do I hook up to the PVC line or vent tube from cover to intake tube?
Sorry for the stupid question.

I have an R56 so I may be wrong; but I thought the Gen 1 cars were not direct injected. If that's the case there shouldn't be any carbon buildup problem with the valves. Please educate me.
