I didn't do the math, but are you paying a lot extra for the vinyl and color changes? Coincidentally I vinyl wrapped my roof recently with a brushed metallic wrap and it looks very similar to the JCW, except it is just a plain S. Looks very classy in person and not like the previous red or purple wraps I had.

If I was in the market for a $40,000 car I'd look at that for sure.

I've done it a few times, ranged from $300 - $400. Last time was a winter bargain because of slow season. Shop had to remove old vinyl that had been put on with lots of primer which makes it harder to remove. Weather has been so bad that I haven't taken any pics.

Thanks for sharing, OP; that's a good looking build. I'd love to know how they spec'd the interior: seats, HK, nav, etc. If they loaded it up, the price could be about right.
