Days until I leave! I need some Dragon Therapy, BAD! Lol

 

Next week is the week of fun. Going to knock out a few loose ends this weekend. Then its off we go.

 

Had to cancel my plans for MOTD. Stuff happens.
I’m planning to attend MSSD in October though. Everyone stay safe and have fun. And remember, Never cross the center line on the Dragon.

 

I leave for North Carolina tomorrow after work! Have a family wedding in Charlotte on Sunday, but will be on the Dragon Monday morning!!!!!!

I'm leaving on Sunday to drive backroads from west-central Florida to Chattanooga,TN with three other MINIacs. Come Monday we're taking more backroads through Beersheba Springs, TN to somewhere near Fontana, then Tuesday we roll into Fontana for MOTD. Can't hardly wait!!!

 

went down this morning on a shake down run first time with my R58. Different animal than my R53 was. Get tail happy if not careful. Ok real reason I went down..,,,.. mixed up my weekends lol! Had a good time anyway. See y’all next weekend!

 

Welllll, I cheated this year. Wife and I had a trip planned to DC the end of April so, I blasted thru there on monday the 22nd, and scrubbed the tires in and got to find out how "Manual" mode tightens the gear ratio's up, oh, and the brakes got pretty HOT also!! (reminds me of the good ol' Gold Wing days). Hope everyone has a safe and fun time! Mac

I took the day to head down and meet Way for some tune action. Saw a lot of goodies but didn't really get to socialize. Maybe next year or the small meetup.

 

Nashville news is calling for rain Friday, Saturday, and maybe even Sunday. Looks like it will hit east TN too. Ugh.

Well, may just popatop or two at Tapoco!

80% chance of rain tomorrow... glad we got some good drives during the spectacular weather earlier in the week...but...mountains make their own weather and don't listen to the weatherman, so....

If you get a chance this weekend you have to run the Meadow Branch Road back up to Fontana Village. It is AWESOME!
