Wobbly ride

I've had this issue where the car has become a bit wobbly on bumpy roads. I showed to my mechanic and he said it was likely the older/unbalanced tires. He also said it was not the brakes.

So I went ahead and replaced all 4 tires and still have the issue. Anyone noticed something similar? Shall I get the suspension checked?

My car is a '14 MCS convertible, 45k miles.

shocks/struts would be my guess but 45,000 is a lil early for this depending on HOW BUMPY your regular drive is ....

know how to do a seat of the pants shocks test? https://www.wikihow.com/Check-Shock-Absorbers

did you replace the tires with the same? More specifically did you replace run flat with run flat or did you change from run flat to 'normal' cuz this will change the ride significantly too.

Thanks for the link to the shock test - will do that asap.

The tires are exactly the same runflats I've had for last ~2+ years. The roads here in Northern California aren't that bad.

Never had to replace shocks ever in any of my cars - last one was a 335xi with 130k miles and never had a suspension issue, but if its not the tires or brakes, its got to be something with the suspension.

Could be top hats on the front struts. Looks for cracks in the rubber around the strut nut or any movement side to side.
