Well figured I’d make a post to hopefully stop what happened to me from happening to anyone else. Just had a Thule 480 snowboard/ski carrier let loose on me doing 70. Recovered my board with minimal damage thankfully but the short roof adapter and the rear cross bar are gone. It appears the front snowboard carrier snapped at the hinge and took out the back half of the rack with it when the board went bye bye. All that was left was the front cross bar and the bottom half of the carrier.
