You might want to just do a internet search... you can find places like:

http://www.decaldriveway.com/
http://www.firestormgraphix.com/
https://www.rvinyl.com/racing-stripes

Or https://www.mightystripes.com/
Or even the yellow pages in your area. Lots of vinyl shops around that do custom work.

Buy some 3m 1080 and DIY and make your own design. We have people use these for the beltline, hood stripes, and other interior parts.

If you want white you can get it local.

I have just begun to look for a supplier for vinyl for my MINI. The plan is to do it closer to the spring. I have found a few suppliers on the internet, however, I would rather buy from a known vendor.

Is the 3M 1080 a thinner wrap that would be better suited for stretching to cover a wider area or a thicker vinyl that would be better suited for the straight lines needed for stripes?

This sounds like a need that can be addressed by the vendors on the forum!

Its has some give to it and using a little bit of heat you can stretch it a bit. MINI factory stripes are very hard and not as stretchable as many aftermarket vinyl have more stretch is what you will find. If you find some generic white 3M or Avery vinyl you can really stretch those things as I have but.. you have to watch as when do scretch it the vinyl can deform and will bacon (wavy) a bit. Use a hair dryer and take your time. map out what you want. To do graphic it takes time and a little practice. I did my own dash hand laid with generic 3m white vinyl, hand cut the little squares.

The 3M 1080 is a tad on the thicker side but the finish is much better than the rolled generic 3M stuff I used. It can be stretched but not like the thin stuff. Its you plot and design ahead of time and mount up with painter tape on you MINI you can get it done.

just went through this with my 05 S cab

i started by doing google search of mini cooper stripe images for a few nights, then walked around my mini dealers lot looking at striped cars then decide to buy a factory stripe kit. took the kit to my local sign guy who used it as a pattern to remake the stripes in my material choice.

they turned out nice and still have an OEM look only better. it helped me having the OEM kit as a pattern to have the cutouts for the emblems, cowl vents and wiper arm hole
