Who drives their MINI daily?

Curious who drives their MINI daily? (Strictly referring to the GEN 1/2 small Coopers due to their goofy size.) Its been lowered, has stiff suspension etc., I don't drive it daily, but when I do its a friggin' blast.

How long have you owned your MINI?
Only got my MINI the first week of December 2017.

How often do you drive it? Where do you live?
I'll drive it more in the spring and summer, but right now only when the weather is decent (1 or 2 times a week). Pacific NW (OR/WA)

I try to drive one of mine during each day of the week, but I have to fit in the Challenger and the Porsche as well ... a different car every day.

Motor On!

R52 since Dec 2004. Just reached 280K. Drive it 6-7 days a week. Live in Ohio so it's on the move all the time.

2012 JCW, put about 8k on it so far. 77k on the ODO.. driven daily ~30mi. Stretched out to 6500rpm WOT at least 3 times a week.. & always idled down to about 950f before shutdown.

Almost where ECS is. '06 R52 every day, well over 100K, a few epic road trips and regional annual rallies/ MITO, MITM, and someday MOTD. Top down unless: Raining, snowing, too hot or cold for my co-pilot making her whine louder than the SC....and we always wave.

How long have you owned your MINI?
08 MCS - 3/6/13 to 5/8/16, used with 39k miles. sold with 78k miles
13 JCW - 5/30/16 to now, used with 9k miles. now with 31k miles

How often do you drive it? Where do you live?
08 MCS was in WI, sold it before moving to NorCal and picked up a clean 13 JCW from Seattle.
08 MCS - daily driver, started modding near the end with FMIC, catless DP, fJCW muffler, Helix short shift kit. Took it on many road trips between STL and WI, and one between STL and Austin TX with zero problems aside from flat tires.
13 JCW - used to daily drive but now I moved within 15 min walk from work, most of the miles are now driving between Sac and SF for family/friends, or canyon carving. Favorite trip so far in this car is driving down to LA from SF and coming back all the way on Hwy 1

2013 MCS with 68K miles, daily driver here. no major issues.

I've had it for over 2 years.

I live near NYC and drive it every day. Even during the "Bomb Cyclone".

How long have you owned your MINI?
Since December 28, 2002, currently just over 402,000 miles.

How often do you drive it? Where do you live?
Driven daily, all types of weather, it was meant to be driven. Live in the Sierra Nevada mountains of Eastern California. So I get hot desert summers, cold snowy winters. It goes out in all weather. Usually the first one out of the neighborhood when it snows. I plow the roads.

Specs in sig, but its lowered, cam, exhaust (header +catback), CAI, reduction pulley, oversized crank pulley etc.

Cant think of a vehicle I would want to replace it with, so I'm not....

366,00 on original engine and clutch, so ~36000 on the rebuild.

The miles people are getting out of these cars if pretty amazing. What was the failure (if any) before the rebuild? Also, what oil and change intervals did you follow?

I've been driving mine everyday for 5 1/2 years. Been fixing it that long too. So fun to drive that it makes up for the continual cost of maintenance.
