So I bought the Bovee Bluetooth wireless device for my phone to use in my 2015 Mini Cooper Paceman S and after I connected the piece as instructed the music was god awful. I don’t even know where to begin with how horrendous this thing was and might I add I almost paid $100 for the thing with insurance as well. The product made my updated sound system sound like it couldn’t handle heavy slapping and constant dance beats.
Does anyone know of an amazing Bluetooth that can stream media through an iPhone 📱? I don’t mind the price as long as the sound quality is crystal clear without any muddled sound that’s been perverted.
All suggestions are welcomed and please leave links too if possible.
The Mpow USB stick has an internal microphone but no audio controls. Audio play-back is good but calling quality is a bit muffled. You can use any length 3.5mm AUX cable.
The Nulaxy Bluetooth FM transmitter just barely fits into the Mini. Also, the reception is terrible. It has numerous input sources though.
The Mpow Bluetooth Receiver (the best IMHO) is awesome. It streams very good audio, has easy to use controls and works without any issues. It also includes a ground-loop isolator. Granted, there are extra cables (USB:power and AUX:audio), but they are very thin and can be tucked away.
Did the audio sound blown out? Maybe your bluetooth volume on your phone was set all the way up. I have mini connected so I have bluetooth audio built in, but I have to keep my phone at 80% bluetooth volume to prevent audio from clipping/sounding blown out
@3lusive dude I hella toggled with and sent the return out today. I was just looking at the 2015 Mini Cooper Retrofit Bluetooth kit on Mini Parts site and it looks like if I had a nonR60/R61 it could most probably work
I am going to buy a few items to see what happens and if they don’t work then whatever unfortunately.
Check out the Tunai Bluetooth transceiver for your Mini. Its simply a wire which plugs into the aux port and the USB port beside it. Once plugged in just leave it alone and you will have perfect Bluetooth capability in your car.
