The other morning (6am, still dark) I was driving to work on the Southern State and for no reason the pillock in front of me slammed on his brakes, causing me to slam mine... then tore away. My Mini travel mug was full of Black Coffee. I did not notice it at the time but the vent on top must have sprayed upward because the mug was hot and full. Later in the day I noted brown stains on my headliner. I tried FOLEX carpet and Spot remover which has always been great on even the most delicate carpets and upholstery. Well, it faded them quite a bit but now there are faint but visible, larger dark splotches. Any suggestions ? Wondering if I should try again. Of course most would never notice them but I know they are there.

Hot water and some stain/spot remover. If you get it quick it will not leave a mark. Very hot water is the key. If you can soak that spot most if not all will come out. I have popped out the headliners and worked on spot before.

Then use a wet vac to pull as much water out as you can.
