I took of my Yakima roof rack today after having it on for about a month. Under each QTower base, there's some "stains" that didn't disappear after a car wash.

The QTowers have a rubber base, and there was still some water under there from the recent rain.

Any idea how to get rid of these stains?

 

Mine has similar "stains." Use a clay bar. That should remove it.

 

Thanks DiD, I'll look into that. Any brand recommendations?

 

I'm using 3M, but Mothers has a similar product.

 

Please let us know if the clay works. I am going to get a Yak rack at the end of the month.
