2011 Clubman lighting adapter for HK system

So I believe I found a 2011 Clubman in good shape with the options I prefer. I do have a couple of questions.

1. While test driving the car I looked and saw that it had the USB port and Auxiliary port that I read through a site are needed to play my iphone or ipad through the car stereo. I plugged in my phone and got an error message regarding the cord? So the lightning adapter is not compatible? Is that model year bluetooth compatible? I really like the car but my days of lugging CD's are pretty much over with even though it has a cd player. It does have Sirius Radio and it was working as it was free this weekend but I chose Apple Music instead as I can control what I listen too. Any input on fixes or what to look for would be appreciated.

2. Thoughts on the Turbocharged engines? Any issues or concerns?

3. Is it really necessary to use Premium fuel?

Thanks in advance

1. Don't use Apple but I think you need https://www.shopminiusa.com/PRODUCT/...APPLE-IPHONE-5

2. High pressure fuel pump is an issue, check to see if it has been changed recently. Also check to make sure it is covered if needed.

3. Yes premium make MINI happy.

You need one of these to play audio and charge on the R- series system.
