Google Pixel and MINI

I have a 2016 F55. Previously, I had absolutely no issues with my Nexus 6P connecting to the MINI via Bluetooth. However, I just received a Pixel XL and while it connects and I can do things like make phone calls, I cannot get audio to work when using Google Play Music or even YouTube.

Has anyone else had a similar issue with this?

Have you tried unpairing your previous phone from the car's system?
Many Bluetooth devices allows for multiple connected devices (usually only 2) but only one to stream audio.

Android O broke BT connectivity for audio playback on the Pixel XL for quite a few people with various cars (notably many BMW/MINI cars).

Sadly, we'll have to wait. :-/
