Hello.


I just bought a JCW Muffler Item # 18100429379 for my 2013 MCS. I noticed the item # 108307646678 seems to be the one mostly for sale online. I googled my item # and it says it fits 2007-2011 R56. Will I have fitment issues for my 2013 MCS?

I don't think it'll have fitment issues. Based on the part numbers the item you bought is part of the JCW tuning kit:

It looks like it was updated for the LCI but I don't think the measurements would be any different because the exhaust system did not change...so my guess is that there shouldn't be any fitment issues.

Anyways the other part number you referenced as being more available is the factory JCW muffler which is actually different than the part you bought. There's slight differences in tone between the two mufflers.

Ita was just a change in the logo design as 2008~ was the time period where the JCW brand was revamped on the logo and brought more in-house by MINI. You can see the logo went from the older works surfboard to the newer surfboard design.

18307646678 is the factory JCW exhuast and is the ones with the welded on tips.

18100429379 is just the old logo seprate tips from the JCW tuning kit.
