I had an issue with burnt valves on my 2006 Mini and had problems with previous repair shops I had used including the dealer. I reviewed the list of Mini repair shops that was provided on the forum and visited several of them. I also read Yelp reviews on all the shops. I was most impressed with BMR in Lorton VA. They did an excellent job of diagnosing the problem, provided a reasonable estimate and completed the work very efficiently. They were very careful in explaining the problem and what needed to be done. I recommend them highly. I have been very disappointed in the dealer and will not go there. (Just to be clear, I do not have any connection with BMR.)
