Radio Settings R56

Hi!

Can anyone help with some annoying radio issues on a 2010 R56?

The radio seems to work okay, and I can adjust all settings, but it loses the bass and treble settings each time I re-start the car. They seem to default to -2 bass 0 treble.

I can't find any electrical problems and no error codes or warning lights are showing.

Thanks in advance,

Srhubs

Settings are also stored on the key fob, might have a problem there, try your other key.

Thanks for a quick reply. Much appreciated!

Unfortunately I only have the one key fob; a 2nd fob is on my to-do list.

Do you have any info how to reset the personal settings on the fob or save new ones?

Thanks,

Just guessing but maybe the battery in your key fob is dead? It's supposed to recharge when it's in the ignition slot, but we know that rechargeable batteries don't last forever. My 2009 Clubman has ComfortAccess, so it does not use a rechargeable battery, but yours might...
