2003 John Cooper Works

I have the opportunity to pick one up with 110000 miles on it. The engine is sound and is in great shape besides a nice sized dent on the rear quarter panel right behind the drivers side door. Asking price is four bills. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

$400 for a mechanically solid JCW with just a dent on the rear quarter? You could get some good dent repair and still be into it for under what is is worth. That is assuming there isn't some major issue you are not being told about.

Yeah I'm not happy about the location of the dent. I do have a friend that runs a high end body shop and will ask him what he can do for me. The asking price was fourth six and then he dropped it to four. I'm thinking maybe thirty five but I'm on the fence.

Wait $400 or $4000? I have always heard 4 bills to mean $400 while 4 grand would be $4000.

Still a good deal. I got my R50 earlier this year for $3500 (asking price was $4000).

Might be worth looking into. Take for a test drive and go to a dealership with used MINIs and drive a few others. Check trucar.com for comparable MINI values in your region.

Yea , looks like its has the JCW tuning kit. I dont see the lower grille badge and its has the aftermarket K&N , not the JCW intake.
