Two more Minis

Hi,
I was able to win two Minis at the auctions last week (9/14/16). I

purchased two pure silver mini Base models. An 09 with 90K miles 6 speed, with all the bells and whistles for the base model and in cherry condition and a 07 Mini base, which is a no frills with 108K miles and automatic and slight roughness, but both run and drive like champs and I am sure I will find good buyers for them soon.
I also bought a 2013 F150 Ford four door 4x4 pickup with the 3.5L V6 and twin turbos. I am using it to trailer for cars that I buy and will not drive to my shop, for repairs.
I am just too busy for an old retired fart! But I am glad I can make these good cars and get them to people that can not afford new.
It does my heart good, when I see how happy the people are that buy them from me.

09 Mini Base loaded

09 Mini with cruise control, climate control, sport mode, factory upgraded sound system

Ahhh 6 speed

07 Mini Base automatic

different stripes on back

My 2013 F150 4x4

Good on ya, sir. I bought my MINI used, albeit from a small used car dealer. If not for finding a solid, pre-owned MINI I never would've been able to afford all I got in a new car. And, you're saving some MINIs from the scrap heap and giving them more life. Hopefully Karma pays you back in kind

It is funny that I know nothing about the sport buttons and I can tell no difference with it on or off! Maybe just a BMW gimmick.
All I know is I really love my 05 Mini S BRG, but I am still looking for an affordable JCW model with lower miles, as I pour them on so quickly!
Here is mine:

Very nice! Looks like mine when I adopted her (just different wheels). I drove some 2010s before I found mine, and I recall a slight difference with Sport engaged, but it's been a while. Some of my friend with second-gen cars swear by the Sport Button, but I'm very happy without it

Gen 2 sport button works ver well, more pedal response, increased rpms and tighter electronic steering. Gen 1 is probably a different thing all together.

Gen 1s are different indeed: they have no Sport button
