Sprint booster

Just installed a new Sprint Booster and was wondering if the light is supposed to stay on even with the ignition turned off?

I don't remember, but some parts of the car stayed powered for about 10-15 minutes. Check back after a while to see if it's still on. On an automatic, the P on the indicator by the stick shift stays illuminated like this for a bit.

The light goes out after a short period of time.

Car runs like a rocket with the sprint booster. No lag what so ever.

Which version of the sprint booster do you have? If you have the adjustable version, the red setting is supposed to be more responsive than green. Also, the throttle setting can be changed when you have the car tuned. If it can be set where you like it, you can sell your sprint booster to offset some of the tune cost.

I would definitely recommend get one. It really feels like more SUPER CHARGER BOOST. Well worth it. Does spin the wheels.

Found this quote on the Sprint Booster Sales.com website..

***** Note: It is normal for the light to stay on after you turn off the ignition. This is caused by the residual power in the circuits when the car is shut down. The reason it stays on so long is the LED is an extremely low power device, and it takes time for this power to bleed off. There is no cause for alarm as this is an extremely low power dissipation and the light does go off. *****
