Ran car today on freeway. What a difference with the new plugs and 10mm wires. Pulled all the way to 15lbs boost at 7000 rpm and wanted more. 1st and 2nd gear burned a little rubber. What is the rev. limiter set at? I seem to think its off. I plan to purchase a MSD coil pack this week and open the gap to .040 or more. There set at .035 now.

Any update on the tune with Jan? Just curious on the experience, good or bad, as I'm planning on getting an RMW tune later this year.

No, Have not got a chance to get it down to him. I did install Sprint Booster and MSD coil. No more lag off the line.

No, haven't got the chance to go down. Been pretty busy with my daughters wedding. Did install a MSD coil and Sprint Booster today.

I know you're not asking me, but I thought I'd butt in with my $0.02

I got a "canned" tune from Jan at MOTD in 2014, and the difference in my car was night & day. After finishing my power mods I got a dyno tune from him some months later, and am thoroughly pleased with the results. Jan knows his isht when it comes to tuning MINIs. Others have their favorite tuners, but for my dollar, it doesn't get any better than RMW. Jan's parts and services deliver, full stop.

The more info, the better

Was the dyno tune full cost, or discounted because you recently purchased a canned tune from him?

Jan charges a reduced or discounted rate for a retune.
