First modifcation

So I was wondering what was everyone's first modification to there Mini?

Being it body, engine, intake or some other weird thing. I am thinking of jumping into doing something myself but looking for some ideas first.

I did panel air filter then a JB+. I've since removed the JB and sold it. It worked fine, just didn't suit my driving style. Replaced runflat tires.

K&N Panel air Filter. Cheap, easy to install, and the blow off valve was more audible.

Waymotorworks strut tower brace installed today. Great product. No more worrying about mushrooming.

Best bang for the buck mod on a Mini. Then when the runflats wear out, replace them with non RFT tires.

Pulley and sway bar. Since your local here in Atlanta you can just pick it up, or we can install if need be.

Yes I do. So a couple things may not fly, but thats all good. I just wanted to get ideas.

The sway bars do seem popular, I am guessing most are using a 22mm bar for a replacement? I was thinking that intake mods were going to be popular.

My first mod was to switch the interior lighting to LED. Love it!

Intake was first, car didn't whine nearly enough without it.

It was awhile ago, just before the first AMVIV, I did a CAI, then after watching the pulleys get done in the parking lot at some park in Vegas, I went home and did mine. February 2004 (I think)

So you don't like the runflats? Any reason why, besides the crazy cost.

The ride is much smoother and less harsh in the NON runflats. There are a few smooth runflats out there like the P zeros thats are smooth for a RF , but still not as smooth as my Hankook v12s non rf's
