Start date on MINI warranty

Is it the purchase date or does MINI use another factor and does that vary by dealer? I'd call the dealer but they're closed on Sunday.

on each of my purchases

the in service date was stated on the contract and typically DIFFERED from the delivery date which would be printed on any service ticket

this can be an issue if you buy a car that has been used as a demo or loaner . . .

Thanks.

Follow up question, I read on another thread the thermostat assembly is covered by the 7 year/70,000 warranty. I just spoke with the SM @ Classic MINI [CLV] and he said it's not covered by that warranty.

Yea, its not covered some get it from goodwill by dealerships if they are very close out of warranty. https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...9-no-heat.html

Some get it confused with the HPFP extended warranty for certain years.
