Wow that's funny, cause I love it. I park my car in my garage and it's usually quite toasty in the car when I get in it, so I don't usually know what temp it is outside and the car is designed to beep below 37 F because that is when black ice can form, I'm glad it tells me because when it gets cold down in Georgia it rains too.

Oh yeah, I remember that... One good reason I'm no longer there!

(You in Champoo-Bana? That's where I grew up. Went to school in Galesburg, even.)

I'm over in Bloomington. I have friends and colleagues in Chambana. There's an amazing drum shop there that forces me to leave my credit card in the car when I visit...

Fave: how it drives, nimbleness, puts a smile on my face every time.
Neg: torque steer in the R56 vs R53.

Only had our Mini a little over 2 months so still love just about everything about it, the way it looks, the way the interior fits me, the driving dynamics, the feedback, the Sport Button, the mechanical sounds it makes, especially the exhaust note and the pops and blats. I can't even say anything bad about the way the Harmon Kardon sounds, although I don't seem to need to turn it on very much for some reason.

Don't really hate anything about this Mini. Might grumble a little about the less than intuitive sound system operation, but I'm getting used to it. I guess the one thing I'm starting to actually not like quite a bit are the bad weather days that make me keep the top up.

I like pretty much everything about my Mini except for all the electronic gizmos but that's pretty much all new cars today.

Like: My F56 seats are actually bolstered and hold me in the seat unlike my R56. (And I fit like a glove!)

Dislike: Front wheel drive. This car would be sooo badass if it were rear wheel drive.

It wouldn't be a Mini, or a MINI, if it were RWD. At least, not to me.

I also feel that FWD is in character for tallish boxy upright cars. If the MINI went to RWD, I would prefer that they do a radically different body--much lower and sleeker.

...But those are my prejudices... :D
