Sorry I am not up on all the MINI lure but I do know that the new Clubman is on the way. It may not be a huge deal since the car is already visible on the MINIUSA site, but being a car guy I thought this was pretty cool.

Last week driving on the Pennsylvania Turnpike I stopped for a break at the Route 80 interchange and pulled into a McDonald's parking lot. And what do I see but a pre-production (I guess) MINI Clubman all decked out in the camo wrap. The driver only allowed me to take a few random photos and nothing inside the car. I only wished I parked my Focus ST next to it to get a size reference point. Cool looking car with the four forward doors.
He drove the car from California to Pennsylvania for a quality shake down run. Pretty cool job if you ask me.

 

I wonder if running the front lip over that curb is part of his shake down?

Big secret, they wrap it in attention getting yellow and drive cross country. It's advertising, surprised he didn't let you snap inside shots while he was in the bathroom.

 

I'm pretty sure this one, along with another and a few BMW's zipped by me about a month ago while I was getting my hair cut in Long Beach. Looks like they've covered some good ground!
