Get a battery with the same AH and CCA rating, install it, no programming needed.
The programming is done to calibrate the alternators output to the battery capacity.
They can't void warranty for that.

Here's the battery I ended up installing. No issues at all from what I can tell. AutoZone's database pulled a battery that was much larger and heavier than the oem battery. I decided against it and went with the 26R-DL model which is identical to the oem battery interms of size and weight.
