Warranty Question

I have a question that maybe those in the know can help answer for me...

I'm thinking of taking my F56 in to have them check the front control arms because I'm experiencing a slight squeak/thump from the passenger side front suspension over some types of bumps since I bought the car... I believe there was a service bulletin out for this exact issue.

My question is, hypothetically speaking, if they were to notice some wheel spacers, would this affect the warranty coverage of the control arms?

I understand the warranty would likely not be honored for any wheel bearing issues, but since I'm certain the control arms are the issue, I'm unsure if they would be affected.

Take them out.... Don't risk a bounced chance at a repair...

That's pretty extreme! But easy to take out too, but by law your probably right about bearing if you have a good relationship with dealer I wouldn't bother removing

It depends on your dealer. They may not say a thing about them & then again they may say your spacers are causing this. If I was your dealer & you came to me with your complaint I'd tell you to remove the spacers & come back in.

Just my .02

Thanks guys! I think I'll lump this issue into the same visit as my next oil change to save a trip, and remove my spacers beforehand just to be safe.
