This is literally only my second post so be patient with me please
anyways, I am in the process of building a "Race Car" so I'll show you guys my progress step by step from beginning to end, please feel free to comment and give me some advice, I had a Lexus before this never did any work under the hood besides intake so this is new to me. I appreciate it, and look forward to meeting some other Mini Owners in SoFla! - Thanks!


P.S: I'll be looking to some of you vets if I'm ever confused lol

Alright! Yes there's an update wheels are finally on, Enkei J10 17x7 +38 all the way around. And my antenna from all wheel drive is awesome, I thought my radio wouldn't sound so clear but it sounds perfect I prefer it than our oem antenna.

I'm a bit confused. Are you building a race car or are you just hot rodding your car? Because if it's a race car, you know, they have things called rules? Those tell you what you specifically CAN do.


If you are just modding your car, cool... Have fun. I'm more a function over form guy, unless it comes in carbon fiber...lol I'm a sucker for that...

 

Just modding, that's why I said "race car" my boyfriend and I always joke about it.

 

Just a quick update on my Mini. I have ordered my short shifter, boost tap and AEM gauge from All Wheel Drive in Coral Springs, FL. I will also be taking it in for some custom piping from Toni @ TR3 Performance.

Quick update!

I replaced my NM Engineering boost tap for my Torque Solutions boost tap ...

And have Finally installed my Burger Motorsports Stage 1 beta and absolutely LOVE it!

It's definitely a killer, especially when all you want to do is mod right away. My racecar isn't a MINI (), but I encounter a lot of MINI's out at the track! I was actually going back and forth with one out at the last event I was at this weekend. Fun little clip of me chasing him down.

Here he is as he currently sits now. Could've bought a brand new '15 STi with the amount I've put into him now

Thanks! Forge asked me to take some snaps in their new shirts. They're a good supporter of mine. Great company and good folks working there. I agree! Spending money on these types of things is just so much more worth it to me than spending it on other things. I say it's my drug and it keeps me sane. You will have a blast with your MINI on the track. Those little suckers are quick! I always see the craziest ones out there, especially with their aero set ups. It's quite impressive. haha of course I don't mind! Keep up the good work with yours.

 

Haha! I know I've seen some good looking Minis I know I will get there eventually and I completely agree I would say 95% of my spare time is spent with my Mini and his WRX (he's a Subaru guy) it keeps my mind off of a lot of things especially work lol, Thanks so much for the kind words I truly appreciate it! the day I get on the track I will make sure to let you know! LMAO!

 

95% of your time and the other 5% at work right? Story of my life. Last week when I got home from work it was straight to the car to prep for the track that weekend. You're doing it right in my book. Heck ya! What year is his WRX? I love supporting other female enthusiasts so keep up the hard work and dedication. Be sure to share pictures! Once you get out on the track, you wont want to stop. It's an expensive addiction.
