Congrats, man! Send us some pictures when you get a chance and let us know what suspension modifications you decide to install.

I got rid of the run flats today. What a difference! Got the Pilot AS/3's. No more bouncing around on every bump. Those run flats are harsh! Next step, thought a few months off, will be the Koni's and a RSB, likely.
Anyone looking for some CONTI SSR's?

resurrecting an old thread.
we still have the mini. It’s served us well.
i put konis and the hcomp RSB on, which helped a ton.
my daughter did get the mini and then I got a 330. She hated me making her drive stick, but now loves it. after the lease expired on the 3, it was Covid and WFH so I didn’t bother getting a nice car. I got my son a Toyota matrix for 1000 bucks cause I didn’t want him driving the mini. somehow I ended up driving matrix.
My son then got the car and he was also resistant to driving stick, but loved it. All his friends would ask… what’s this **** thing in the middle. Now my youngest says he only wants to drive stick. He’s learning now and the car will be his.
The car is getting a bit long in the tooth with 106k miles. Just got the fuel injector replaced, got home and the FRM is messed up. The Konis probably need replacing soon, that’s why I came back to see if there are better options now.
probably still cheaper and more fun than anything new.
kids will keep driving this, my goal is a cayman s next.
My son built a canoe at school. He brought it home on the mini.
