Please forgive me if this has been dealt with ad nauseum. I did a search and did not find any interactions.

I got the Iphone 6. Obviously, switching from the 4s and larger pin connect to the lightning cable is an issue. I purchased a connector to the lightning cable, attached it to my Y connect and nothing. Does anyone have a work around for this issue?

Did you actually buy an Apple lightning to 30 pin adapter or a cheap copy?

 

What exactly worked before with the 4s that is not working now?
Mini Connect App or something else?

If Mini Connect do you have the latest software in the vehicle itself? UPD01006 is the lastest version. Find update and info here. http://www.mini.com/connectivity/softwareupdate/phone

Last, looking at the latest vehicle software it only states iPhone 5 and ios 6 not the latest ios8. That said my iPhone 5 with ios 8.0.2 does work.

Also, there are different Mini y-connectors also (one for sound only (with rectangular connector) and another for Mini Connect (with a triangular connector).

Last, I thought I read another post that they also had issues with the new iPhone 6. Let us know if you get it working.
