Will This Work?

I posted a thread similar to this in the tire and brake section without much success. But anyways, I have a 2004 MINI R50. I really like these rims from focal, but I have no skills when it comes to tire fitment of wheel fitment, so pleeeaaassseee help! Will the rims work with the tires that I have in the links below? And will these fit on my car? Thanks!

Rims: http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/WheelCloseUpServlet?target=runWheelSearch&initialP artNumber=4287701SB42B&wheelMake=Focal&wheelModel= F04&wheelFinish=Black+Painted&showRear=no&autoMake =MINI&autoModel=Cooper&autoYear=2004&autoModClar=S tandard&filterFinish=Black&filterSize=17&filterBra nd=All&filterSpecial=false&filterNew=All&filterWei ght=All&sort=Brand

Tires: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Hankook&tireModel=Ventus+V2+con cept2&partnum=045VR7H457XL&vehicleSearch=true&from Compare1=yes&autoMake=MINI&autoYear=2004&autoModel =Cooper&autoModClar=Standard

Your links are broken, at least on my browser. Remove the spaces (may have been carriage returns?) to get them to work, like this:

Wheels: http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...All&sort=Brand

Tires: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....dClar=Standard

First, Tire Rack appears to be listing these tires as being compatible with your 2004 MINI. So they ought to fit over the brakes and such, unless you have non-stock rotors and calipers.

Second, the "specs" tab for the tires says that the size you choose fits rims 6.5"-7.5" wide. And the 7.5" wheels you are looking at are in that range. So you should be fine.

Without having actually tried this combination, I would say that they should work well on your car.

Thanks so much! Another set I was looking at were these montegis. However, they say that the bolt pattern is 4x100, but it looks like it's a 5 bolt pattern. Any ideas? http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/WheelCloseUpServlet?target=runWheelSearch&initialP artNumber=MR11977041740B&wheelMake=MOTEGI+RACING&w heelModel=MR119&wheelFinish=Black+Painted&showRear =no&autoMake=MINI&autoModel=Cooper&autoYear=2004&a utoModClar=Standard&filterFinish=Black&filterSize= All&filterBrand=All&filterSpecial=false&filterNew= All&filterWeight=All&sort=Brand

Take the spaces out of the URLs. It's a pain in the butt to copy-edit-load them to see WTH you are talking about.

I haven't looked at the wheels you're talking about, but quite a few wheels are set up so that they can be drilled with several different patterns, four-lug or five-lug.
