Has anyone tried to swap the clear lens off a aftermarket headlight and install them on the stock ones .. My car has the factory HID .
But the lens are cracked real bad .

I'm thinking of getting a set to try to fit them . Any info would be good .

Shouldn't be a problem. I took mine off to do the "joey mod" of painting the inside of the headlight. You might can find a whole unit if you look around on here and eBay and not have to take them apart.

 

I have the factory ones with zenon and washers . I want to paint the inside of them when I do the swap.

All the ones I found have problems with them . Plus the ones I found the person wants way more than I feel they are worth ..
